AAI is a college preparatory English immersion school. As such, we recruit caring Christian teachers from across the native English-speaking world. Thus, our students are prepared for English-language university programs in North America, Europe and even Asia. To prepare our students for international careers, we seek teachers with a global mindset but local sensitivity.
Many volunteer their time to support our programs outside of the classroom. A consistent theme heard from our alumni from across the generations is how individual teachers made a significant impact in their formation because they were invested so deeply and individually in students' lives. As a small school, our teachers make an outsized difference in the lives of our students.

2026/2027
- Minimum educational background/degree:A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or in Business Administration with an accounting specializationA master’s degree in business (M.B.A) or Accounting and Finance.
- Minimum job-related experience:At least 5 years leading multiple support functions, including finance, and demonstrated track record of humble, ethical organizational leadership.
- Language requirement: Fluency in Spanish and English (At least B2 second language)
- Also Valued: Budget planning and cost accounting, experience with fund accounting, strong Excel skills for forecasting and modeling, knowledge of the legal environment in Ecuador, and proven cross-cultural skills.
- Minimum educational background/degree: a university degree in Library Arts or a related field.
- Minimum job-related experience: leadership role experience and one year of experience in an educational setting.
- Certification: certification in Library/Media, Education, or Educational Administration, or the ability to obtain certification.
- Language requirement: Native English (C2) required with an additional preference for conversational Spanish ability.
- Minimum educational background/degree: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Minimum job-related experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in customer engagement, marketing or related administrative operations.
- Language Requirement: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with native or near-native English composition and editorial skills.
Minimum educational background/degree: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Psychology or related field.
Minimum job-related experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in customer engagement, school admissions, alumni relations, event coordination, or related administrative operations.
Language Requirement: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication abilities in both languages.
2027/2028
- Minimum educational background/degree: a university degree in Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Minimum job-related experience: at least one year of teaching experience and/or successful completion of a student teaching experience.
- Certification: US state and/or ACSI certification, or the ability to obtain certification.
- Language requirement: Native English (C2) required with an additional preference for conversational Spanish ability.
